Optical Express continues its rapid expansion in the South of England with the opening of a brand new eye clinic in the city of Bath.
The new clinic is the 7th to open in the UK since the beginning of January as part of the Group’s plans to expand its portfolio. The new clinic benefits from a prominent location in the town centre overlooking the South Gate Shopping Centre on South Gate Street which can be easily accessed by train and bus, plus there’s free parking available nearby.
The city of Bath is a World Heritage Site boasting a population of over 80,000. The Group identified the area as one which would benefit from the arrival of an Optical Express eye clinic to make certain the people of Bath had local access to world class eye care.
With the increase in demand for laser eye surgery in the UK and Ireland, the clinic focuses heavily on providing free laser eye surgery consultations with expert refractive optometrists. For those not ready to take that step just yet, the clinic also offers eye examinations and contact lens appointments and stocks a wide range of glasses, sunglasses and designer frames.
Clinic Manager, Laura Moloney who joined Optical Express in 2008, commented:
