Optical Express celebrated its third new eye clinic opening this weekend, making a welcome return to the town of Uxbridge.
The new clinic is located in The Market House, a prominent location in the town centre facing The Chimes Shopping Centre and Uxbridge underground station, providing a great link to central London.
The clinic format sits between Optical Express’ full service treatment clinics and their traditional glasses and contact lens only clinics, providing a full range of optical solutions in the one location. With the demand for laser eye surgery on the increase, Optical Express have identified locations like Uxbridge which would benefit from local access to laser eye surgery. Clinic manager Diane McDonald commented: “The new Uxbridge clinic will eliminate the need for patient to travel into Central London for eye care appointments as they can access high quality clinical care right on their doorstep.”
The clinic opening is one of many to come from the optical chain as part of an expansion plan announced late last year. They plan to unveil even more locations in the next few weeks with the aim to strengthen its market position and continue to build their brand.
Optical Express Chairman and CEO, David Moulsdale commented: “We are fortunate to be in a position to grow in the current trading conditions and we are delighted to be able to return to Uxbridge where we have an established reputation for our clinical care. We hope to build on our previous success and welcome to patients old and new to our fantastic new clinic.”
