Cash for Kids lends a helping hand to disabled and disadvantaged children aged 0 to 18 years across 21 areas in the UK by means of our grant giving process.
Cash for Kids is Bauer Radio’s network of local charities which operate across 21 areas in the UK. Their aim is to respond to the needs of disabled and disadvantaged children, aged 0 to 18 years, to provide essential care and support allowing them to live their lives to the full.
Money is raised both on and off air through numerous fundraising events in which individuals, schools and companies are encouraged to get on board. Collectively Cash for Kids raised £15.7 million in 2014 and all funds raised on behalf of Cash for Kids, stays in the area in which it is raised, providing a helping hand when and where it is needed most.
Optical Express have supported Cash for Kids for over 20 years ensuring that the much needed services are provided to young people to give them a better and brighter future.
