In late February 2013, Optical Express in Croydon moved from is location within the Whitgift Centre, to a brand new, state-of-the-art eye clinic situated in the heart of the town centre in Woolwich House on George Street.
The new clinic will continue to offer comprehensive eye examinations, an excellent range of frames and lenses, and a full contact lens service including fittings, advice and clinical aftercare. But, in a first for Optical Express in Croydon, patients can now also attend laser eye surgery appointments and have all their questions answered about the treatment. The eye care provider is already the number one choice for laser eye surgery in the UK, with their team of experienced surgeons having performed over 1 million procedures worldwide.
Croydon Clinic Manager, Reiza Baksh commented:
“I have been with Optical Express for over 13 years. I’m delighted with the new Croydon clinic and the fact that we now offer free consultations for laser eye surgery is a great addition to our range of services. I’ve been contacting all of our existing patients to let them know and many of them have already popped in for a look and like what they see.”
Croydon is the 23rd new Optical Express clinic to open this year with more scheduled throughout the coming months. When asked about the company’s growth, David Moulsdale, Chairman and CEO of Optical Express said:
“With the tough trading conditions facing many high street brands, I am very pleased Optical Express is bucking the trend and continuing to increase our market share throughout 2013. The response we have had to the new clinics we have already opened this year has been very encouraging and I look forward to welcoming more new patients throughout the year.”
