Optical Express, the leading provider of laser eye surgery in Europe, with 60 clinics in the UK, Europe and US, has opened a £1.5million flagship clinic on Princes Street, Edinburgh.
This 13,500 sq ft clinic at the heart of Edinburgh’s main shopping thoroughfare comes as part of Optical Express’s current and continuing expansion drive to satisfy the increasing demand for its high quality services.
Optical Express performs more laser eye surgery procedures each week than any other provider in Europe with their specialist surgeons who have now performed over 1 million treatments worldwide.
This state-of-the-art clinic on Princes Street will be employing over 40 members of staff and will offer its customers a complete eye care solution from eye examinations, glasses and contact lenses, to free laser consultations, laser eye surgery and intraocular lenses.
The Princes Street Clinic Manager said, “We are very excited about the opening of this new clinic on Edinburgh’s main shopping high street. Optical Express has gone from strength to strength and has experienced increasing demand throughout Scotland.”
“The flagship clinic will include the latest NASA approved VISX laser eye treatment technology as well as free laser consultations for our Edinburgh customers and is testament to the continuing expansion and market demand for laser eye treatment.
While many companies are feeling the draft from the slowdown of the economy, Optical Express is steaming ahead with further UK expansions in high profile locations likely to continue through 2009.
