Optical Express, the UK’s only optician to offer patients the complete visual solution, have recently opened a newly refurbished eye clinic in the city of Chelmsford.
In welcome news for the High Street, the decision to open is part of a growth strategy announced by the Group late last year. The company has identified various locations across UK and Ireland and plan to open many more clinics throughout the year.
With a population of over 100,000, Optical Express recognised the need to have a clinic outside of central London which allowed patients local access to world class eye care.
The new Chelmsford clinic, situated on Springfield Road, will provide a full eye care service including eye examinations & contact lens appointments but will have a heavy emphasis on laser eye surgery and natural lens replacement consultations. Claire Britnell, the clinic manager has been with Optical Express for almost 10 years and is looking forward to opening their doors to new and old customers to continue their clinical care.
