Optical Express has announced the opening of a new eye clinic in Solihull. The eye care business already has a thriving clinic in the city centre of Birmingham and took the decision to open a brand new clinic in nearby Solihull to better service the local community. The new clinic is conveniently located near the High Street on Station Road and is easily accessible by car and public transport.
The Solihull clinic will offer a full eye care service including glasses, contact lenses and laser eye surgery. Patients at the clinic will be able to attend free consultations and post operative appointments in Solihull, and will travel to the close by Birmingham Optical Express clinic for their treatment.
Siobhan Rigney, Clinic Manager of the new clinic said:
“I previously worked at Optical Express in Birmingham so I know first hand that we already have a high number of Silhillian patients. I’m delighted that we now have a clinic here and are in a position to better serve this area. I’m looking forward to continuing to provide those loyal patients with great eye care but also welcoming many more members of the local community to this state of the art eye clinic.”
With an experienced clinical team including refractive optometrist Tahir Mahmood, Optical Express is perfectly positioned to provide a full optical service and advise patients on the best solution to suit their visual needs. They have been providing eye care in the UK for over 20 years and have earned a reputation as a world class eye care business.
David Moulsdale, Optical Express Chairman and CEO commented:
“Solihull marks the 25th new clinic opening for Optical Express in 2013. As much as it’s a brand new town for us, we are known to many here as we have had a thriving clinic in the heart of Birmingham for over 10 years following our acquisition of the Eye Clinic in late 2002. We hope to build on our existing patient relationships and develop many new ones.”
